How Much Will The Need-Based Supplement To The Hathaway Scholarship Cover?
For Performance, Opportunity, and Provisional Opportunity scholarship recipients, you’ll receive 25% of your annual unmet need, or up to $2,120 annually.
For Honor scholarship recipients, the amount of your unmet need will be fully covered.
How To Calculate Your Unmet Need
The final number is used to determine your unmet need.

- Determine the annual cost of attendance (COA) for your eligible Wyoming college.
- Subtract the Estimated Family Contribution, determined by FAFSA, from the COA.
- Subtract the amount of your Hathaway Scholarship.
- Subtract any other grants or scholarships you’ve received.
- Subtract the $2,000 Hathaway Scholarship required student commitment.
