If you’re using the Hathaway Scholarship to attend a Wyoming college, you have three requirements to meet each semester to continue receiving funds:
- Grade Point Average (GPA).
- Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
- Continuous Enrollment.

How To Maintain Your Hathaway Scholarship
How To Regain Your Hathaway Scholarship
If you don’t meet the minimum Grade Point Average (GPA), Continuous Enrollment, and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements outlined above, you’ll lose your eligibility for the Hathaway Scholarship until you can meet the requirements again.
To begin the process of regaining** your scholarship, contact your college’s Hathaway Scholarship coordinator, then start working toward meeting the requirements outlined below.

Please note: Hathaway Scholarship money will not fund semesters spent regaining eligibility. Maintaining and regaining must be done at an eligible Wyoming institution.
*A Performance/Honor student who drops below a 2.50 but has at least a 2.25 may receive the Opportunity scholarship level until a GPA of at least 2.50 is achieved.
**Semesters of ineligibility count against the six-year time frame for scholarship use. Remedial credits cannot be used to regain the scholarship.
***Students who lose eligibility due to SAP must enroll and complete a minimum of six (6) non-remedial credits to regain eligibility.
****Students who lose eligibility due to Continuous Enrollment must regain eligibility based on the enrollment status, full-time or part-time, of the last semester attended.
