Wyoming College Access Grant Information

What is the Wyoming College Access Grant?

The Wyoming College Access Grant is a need-based grant given to Wyoming residents attending college for the first time. This grant is “need-based” which means students who receive the grant must be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant at their institution in the fall of 2015. Priority will be given to graduating high school students attending college for the first time, but others may be eligible. This grant award is provided through the Wyoming College Access Challenge Grant, which is administered by the Office of Student Educational Opportunity at the University of Wyoming. It will provide a $1,000 award to approximately 600 students across the state.  These students will be able to apply the $1,000 award to the costs of attending college in the 2015-16 school year.
